LOTRO Gold Guide - Where To Farm Gold In LOTRO

By Mark Fulke

I am a casual player and I rarely find the right time to participate in end game LOTRO content, raids or various instance runs in order to get nice gear. I've been buying my equipment and almost everything I needed from the Auction Hall since the beginning. A few friends in my guild told me about a LOTRO gold guides made especially for players like me and I decided to have a look. I found one which suited my needs exactly and taught me quite a few things about making gold in LOTRO. So, here are a few bits of information.

LOTRO Gold Guide - My Leather Farming Place In Moria

The Library of Katub-zahar. This place is inside Mines of Moria, located in the northeastern part of the Great Delving. The mobs here are Deep-claw beasts, which drop Magnificent Hides and also reputation items for Moria, like Broken Engravings and Crystal Lamp Fragments. You can make nice XP here, as the respawn rate is high and the mobs don't attack right away. When your inventory is full just Map Home to Twenty-First Hall and auction your hides and rep. items.

LOTRO Gold Guide - Tips To Make Gold In LOTRO

- First of all, no matter what you do, always go for humanoids or undead. Orcs, goblins, humans, or the dead are the mobs that anyone should go for, as they have increased chances of dropping "goodies" and they also drop coins;

- When you find a good spot, always find a safe spot where to pull the mobs. Try not dying a lot during a farming session. This way you'll waste time coming back at the spot, which sometimes can be pretty hard to reach, and in LOTRO, like anywhere in the world, time is money;

- When you auction your loot, make sure that you always sell full stacks of items or at least stacks of 10. The very expensive items should always be sold auctioned one by one;

I hope that these tips will help you a little in your conquest for LOTRO gold. The LOTRO gold guide I've been using is centered on the farming method, and showed me many good spots in the game. I got a couple of hundreds just in a week and ever since, I've never needed to farm again. - 32500
