Why Would I Use An Alliance Power Leveling Guide?

By Mike Miller

Anyone who desires to play World of Warcraft as a Gnome, a Dwarf, a Human, a Night Elf, or a Draenei will be using an Alliance character. Similar to Horde characters, these characters have unique starting areas and quests. In order to get the most out of your game, you need an Alliance power leveling guide. Using power leveling does not require a lot of information, and it does not overlap Horde quests as much as you may believe.

One of the main appeals of WoW is that there are a lot of choices that you need to make, and one of the first choices that you are going to end up making is whether you are going to play Horde or Alliance. With the advent of the Burning Crusade, there are no classes that are restricted to either side. Though in the later levels, the Horde and the Alliance start sharing areas more regularly, you will find that in the old world content, which you will need to go through to get to Outland or to Northrend, the two factions stay relatively separated. Though there is certainly some crossover, you will find that Alliance has a fairly large presence in the Eastern Kingdoms.

If you desire taking your Alliance character to an area where end game challenges can be faced, you want to start working to level them now. Take the time to see where your character is now, and determine how far you have to take him/her. While it is important to have goals for your character, it is vital that you have a guide that can provide you with quality information. There are a variety of guides that can help you get where you want to go, but in order to find the one to help you in the best way, you need to have a grasp on the type of game you want to play.

Therefore, if you are trying to level your Alliance character, you need to pay attention to how you want to do it. You need to ask yourself why you want to reach the end game and what kind of game play you want to enjoy. For example, some people decide to use a certain class for the simple fact that they are under the impression it will level easier. Unfortunately, if they chose a class that does not fit their game play desires, they will not enjoy playing the game. Despite the rumors that are going around, it is not necessarily harder to level one class than it is another. You simply need to have the right information at the tips of your fingers.

Once you choose the type of game you want to play, take the time to consider the benefits of playing with an Alliance character. Using an Alliance power leveling guide, you will be able to play a proactive game that suits your game play desires. Regardless of your play style, you need to find a class and race that fit your style, and take the time to learn as much as you can about how the game really works. - 32500

Locating The Best Leveling Guide

By Mike Miller

If you are interested in playing World of Warcraft, it is fairly a safe bet to say that you have some interest in leveling. Even the people who are not all that dedicated in getting to the end game are interested in learning more about the world and everything that you can do in it, and that often means that you are going to need to think about how to achieve more experience for your character. Take some time and make sure that you think about what your options are going to be when you are thinking about finding the best leveling guide to help you. How can you find the best leveling guide that is going to meet your expectations, and what are your options when you start your search?

In the first place, make sure that the leveling guide that you are looking at speaks to your faction. Game play in World of Warcraft is divided between the Horde and the Alliance, two competitive groups that have gone to war with each other on and off throughout the ages. As you might expect, they control different territories and the quests that they ask you to do are quite different. Take some time and make sure that you consider what your options are when you are thinking about which faction you play. Find a guide that focuses on the faction that you have chosen, because their information will be more precise.

You will then need to decide your strategy for leveling. Leveling by completing quests is a popular option among World of Warcraft players, but there are individuals who prefer to level through grinding. This means that you gain experience by going out in the wild and killing mobs. It will be beneficial to you to consider all of your options for play. What strategy gives you the most enjoyment, and what is the best way for you to move forward? Answering these questions will allow you to play the kind of game that is the most fun for you.

When consulting a guide, be sure to see what it says about your class. Playing a priest, or a warlock, or a warrior, will each provide a unique experience in the game. Locating a guide that shares information about your particular class, and how best to play in that class, will ensure that you will have what you need to move forward in the game. You will be able to reach your goals more quickly and effectively with this useful information.

If you are interested in learning more about leveling guides, take a look and see what is out there; the more you know about the selection, the better a choice you can make. The game is quite large, so make a choice that will help you learn about the game that you want to play. - 32500

Warcraft Gold Generator, The 5 Steps to Success

By Paul Rone-Clarke

These five tips will help you become a serious Warcraft gold generator. These first tips work at any level, and are therefore ideal for low level characters.

1- Spend as much time as possible playing the game properly. Powerleveling as fast as you can. This does three things.

As you progress, you will access higher level areas, and this in turn will give you better loot. But the main reason is that, by combining questing with powerleveling, you have a great route to extra gold in the form of rewards, and of course a decent upgrade path with weapon and armour rewards

2- Get a portal to Dalaran. This is a fantastic method of working. Send a lower level character to Dalaran by paying for a portal (or asking a guild mate to send you) Once there, you can buy the high level consumable items that the vendors sell and post them back to put on your factions auction house. This is a great way to become a WotLK gold farming expert at a low level.

3- Transmute, disenchant, prospect, mill. Whatever ability you have. Most farmed items can be changed or altered. Check and see which state offers the best value. You can sometimes buy, alter and resell almost immediately for a profit.

4- Take the time to scan the auction house every day with an addon like auctioneer. Once you have a decent number of scans over a period of perhaps a week or two, then start looking for items that are on the market for a lot less than the average price. (I look for under 33% - and there are often lots of items like this) You can then buy these to sell back at a later date when the market has risen.

5- For some reason best known to themselves, many people don't put a buyout on items at auction. It's not good practice to do this, and these people will lose a lot of sales (I want that Axe now, not the day after tomorrow when your auctions 48 hours is up - i'll buy something else instead, or just forget it). Capitalize on these mistakes by filtering the AH GUI to pick up auctions that have less than 30 minutes to run, then minimum bidding on the bargains.

I notice many people on forums don't like the minimum bid and 1 copper raises. But why?

Do you like to give your hard earned gold away? If players are daft enough to put on items under priced and without buy-out then they will either be happy with the results and keep doing it - or learn very quickly what a terrible idea it is. It's not your job to educate. It's your job to leverage profit. It's only a game after all.

Good luck, you'll soon be well on your way to being a World of Warcraft Gold Generator. - 32500

The Best WoW Leveling Guides

By Travis Jenkins

The very first WOW guides that came out some years ago were mostly books or ebooks, which provided good information but were a hassle to use, since players had to switch back and forth from the game screen to the ebook or online guide. Needless to say, this slowed down the use of the guide, defeating the purpose of the guide, which was supposed to help players level faster. Fortunately, the latest guides for WOW are a big improvement.

The latest WOW game guides are complete, "in-game" guides. What is an "in-game" guide? Basically, it means the guide is delivered inside the game window, eliminating the need to switch screens in order to read instructions. Many guides today also include other help such as map waypoints and arrows that point to the next quest location. Players who use these guides are now able to level at speeds that were not possible before the advent on in-game guides.

Our research and testing has revealed two excellent in-game guides that we consider better than all the others, and these two guides will be examined in this article.

First, there is Zygor's Guide, an in-game guide that displays quests in a expandable window that gives you a quest order to follow and tracks progress automatically. In-game arrows direct you to the next area to go to, and the path and order of the quests are optimized to make the best use of your time. When using this guide, remember to get the largest bags you can afford because you will be gone from town for long stretches at a time as you knock off the quests. You will not find it unusual that every time you return to town, you will have 3 or 4 quests to turn in, if not more.

Second on our list is Dugi's Ultimate WOW Guide, another in-game guide that is similar to Zygor's guide in many ways. Like Zygor's guide, this guide is delivered through an in-game window displaying the optimal quest path. Extras included with the guide are a gold and pvp guide, however, we found that this guide had a few more bugs than Zygor's. Nevertheless, this is a solid guide and the extras make it a good purchase overall.

So should you use an in-game guide? Much of it is a personal preference. It is possible to do well in the game without a guide, but using a good guide removes a lot of the frustrations faced by many players, such as not knowing where to go for a certain quest, and not knowing where to find certain items or mobs. In many ways, using a good guide enhances the game, making gameplay a smoother experience. We also found that using these guides allowed us to level characters about twice as fast as we would have on our own. - 32500

Finding The Best WoW Guide

By Mike Miller

World of Warcraft is one of those games that is so massive, you have more options than you can really conceive. Depending on which options you decide to go with when you start your character, it can really effect how you progress through the game and even how you play it. But this same immense and massive feeling in the game that every one finds wonder and enjoyment in is the same thing can bring a new player to a screeching halt once to get to a certain point in their leveling. They may become stuck and unsure of what to do. Even if you are freshly freed from the beginning area for your race, or you are at the point ready to walk through the Dark Portal to join the Burning Crusade content, or you really want to get to Northrend as quickly as possible, a WoW guide will be an important part of how you get there.

When you first looking to get a WoW guide, you may not understand exactly how it can help you. In truth, you can find a guide that will assist you in reaching any goal you may have set for the game. The majority of guides are designed to help you with leveling. This is the process where you work to get your character to the level cap in the game. Once you have gotten your character to the level cap, you will have access to all the game content, a goal that many people have.

Are you wanting to quickly level your character? There are two ways to do so. A lot of people tend to focus on doing nothing but quests to level. Quests are basically small little story plots that reward you experience for finishing them, and sometimes even an item reward that allows you to progress through the game at a better pace. For those who only want to progress quickly without as much leg work may enjoy grinding a bit more. You basically go into an area with a lot of mobs and kill them in a way that maximized how much experience you can get, this is quite a fast method. Everyone has different tastes, and you must choose the route which you enjoy.

Remember that there are also guides that will help you do things that are not leveling. For instance, some guides will help you play your class more efficiently. One of the reasons why WoW is so popular is due to the fact that everyone can design a character with different strengths through the talent trees and when you are thinking about what you want your character to do, whether he or she is interested in soloing, in raiding or in doing player versus player content, these guides are perfect.

Always do a bit of research before committing to a guide, they are all out there to help you and you will find quite the choice of what type of guide you can use to set you on the right path in this game. As you look to enhance you overall experience with WoW, don't hesitate in giving a WoW guide a shot to make everything smoother. - 32500

Mistake To Avoid In World Of Warcraft

By Adrian Logan

To earn gold in World of Warcraft, there are several different ways. One way is to use your profession to gather or craft items and sell them in either trade channel or auction house.

The more you gather, the more you developer your skills. And gathering professions are almost free to level up.

There is a trap when it comes to crafting professions. Most people fall for it.

Remember Your End Goal

Yes, it's fun to produce things like jewels, enchants, armor and weaponry, and it's practical to be able to make your own, so you don't have to buy from others.

But your end goal should probably be to earn gold. Your real goal in having a profession should not be levelling up your skills.

You probably will not get the impression that the people who put up items for sale in the auction house are doing that for the gold.

On my server, you can often see jewelry, glyphs and other crafted items for sale at prices that are ten times lower than the price it costs to actually create them.

Now you may probably argue that, if you sell them for more expensive prices, your items will not be sold, since everybody else is undercutting - and you'd be right.

If you can, do not sell.

There are other ways to make money with these items. If prices are so low on your products that you will be selling them at a loss, or not be able to sell them at all, then the answer is obvious. Don't try to sell them!

All your uncommon or green items can be disenchanted. After disenchanted, your rings, weapons, armor, and some other items can turn into dusts and shards. Dusts and shards are free to put up for sale. There is no risk for you to sell them as you do not need to pay any fees if your enchanting materials are not sold. Thus you can avoid undercutting the other prices.

Find somebody in your guild to help you if you don't have a character with enchanting as a profession. Alternatively, you can ask on trade and pay a tip to the enchanter who assists you.

It is costly to level up a crafting profession but do not make it harder for yourself than you have to. While you are leveling up, don't undercut prices but instead use your items in a creative way to earn gold. - 32500

World of Warcraft Gold Farming Guide

By Travis Jenkins

This gold farming guide is meant to provide you with a list of ideal locations to pursue your gold farming, according to character level.

There is a common misconception that gold farming is best pursued by high level characters, but this is not true. While the gold earned per hour may be highest for level 80 characters, many low level characters often find themselves in serious need of gold. That is why gold farming makes sense for characters of all levels, and is a sensible activity to engage in to take a break from regular game play and acquire some much needed gold.

Listed below are some popular gold farming spots.

Character Levels 12 - 20

Westfall - Coordinates: Around 32, 33 - Kill Defias Trappers for linen cloth. The good thing about this location is that the Defias here spawn much faster than elsewhere, so you can stay in one spot and keep killing mobs. Sell the linen cloth you pick up at the auction houses for some quick gold.

Skinning, Herbalism, and Mining - These are the best professions for lower level characters to make some quick gold. It doesn't matter if these professions fit in with your character, since you can change them later when your character is higher level. An hour going through Elwynn Forest is all that is required to get some good gold with these professions. The herbs or ore you collect can be sold at auctions houses for good prices.

Player Levels 40 - 60

Stranglethorn Vale - Coordinates: 44, 45 - Crystalvein Mines has mobs that drop some good items. Sell what you pick up at vendors, and green items should be sold at the auction house.

Tanaris - Coordinates: 72, 44 - Go to a place called Lost Rigger Cove. The pirates there drop a lot of silk and mageweave.

Levels 60 - 80

Winterspring - Coordinates: 52, 43 - The mobs wandering around the lake drop a good amount silver as well as sellable items.

Felwood - Coordinates: Around 41, 20 - Head over to Jadefire Run, kill the mobs, and sell the runecloth they drop at auction houses.

Eastern Plaguelands - Coordinates: Around 28, 85 - Kill the Mossflayer Zombies. They can be taken down pretty quickly, and the runecloth they drop sells well at the auction houses.

While this gold farming guide will help you find good spots for gold farming, it is not meant to be comprehensive. Serious gamers may want to consider gold guides for further tips on making gold. - 32500

You Can Level Up Fast In World Of Warcraft

By Brock Davis

Have you spent hours playing World of Warcraft and not doing any progress? Want to level up your World of Warcraft character fast? Have you feel like giving up on playing the game?

The problem with games like World of Warcraft is not that they are not fun or interesting. In fact, it's one of the most popular games ever made and millions have spent hundreds of hours proving that. The problem is that many of those millions don't have hundreds of hours to spend. However, everyone wants to reach those elusive higher levels, get an epic mount and earn lots of gold.

Here are some tips for you to level up your character in World of warcraft.

Understand Your Character

Spend some time to discover everything about your character. Set your talents to either PvP or PvE. You must also know your place in a group (healer, tank, dps). With that, you will then know what gear to get.

Lots of Quests

Do lot of quests right away. You will save time and can level up faster. You can also do raid quests as they give you more gold and experience with a few good gear. Also you do your quests in a specific area.

Quest that belong to a part of chain quests are very useful as they can give you more experience.

Grind

Well grinding takes some time but if do a quest that needs a item that drops from a mob grid as hell, you will get extra experience when finish the quest. Make sure you grind for mobs that are not 2-3 levels below you or 3-4 levels above you. After all you don't want to get killed.

Don't waste time gathering gear

Focus on level up fast. Do not bother about getting that gear for your level. In World of Warcraft you should worry about gear at the few highest levels. Even if your gear is a little weak it should be enough to defeat all those mobs.

Why You Need An Alliance Leveling Guide

By Mike Miller

Those of you who are beginners to WoW quickly realize that you have to learn quite a few things before you get good. If you're new to the game itself, or new to computer gaming in general, you'll soon see that you have to take a little while to get a feel for how the world operates and the abilities you have as your character; those of you who are less patient can take steps to accelerate your training and get used to the world. An Alliance leveling guide is perfect for this, and you absolutely have to get a good one if you plan on succeeding.

When you do start searching the internet for a WoW guide you will realize there are tons of them out there. WoW has found it's success due to the fact that the world is massive and there is plenty to do, and there are many ways you can do each thing. As you continue on your search for a guide you will come to the realization that many guides tend focus on gaining fast experience as well as levels, but this does not encompass all the guides. The truth of the matter is, depending on the guide you decide to follow, can really change how you play the game.

In the first place, you will find that there are general guides and while these might give you a command of the basics regarding the game, you will find that they are not helpful past a certain point. The game is enormous, and when it is divided up into two different factions, you are looking at content that you might never touch. The quests for the Alliance are very different than the ones that are available to the Horde, and while the quests do unify as you progress farther in the game, there is still a great deal of content that is going to be specific to your faction.

As a result, you might want to stick to an Alliance leveling guide for your WoW experience. Alliance characters include Humans, Draenel, Night Elves, Dwarves, and Gnomes, as well as a starting zone for each race, which is where you begin the game, so keep that in mind if you choose Alliance. You'll find your quest beginning with journeys that are race-specific, as you travel from your land to other lands right afterward, making the need to start the game off right extremely paramount.

An Alliance leveling guide can really help you in your path to level up quickly in World of Warcraft, so you can get past all the leveling stuff and play the game. If you want to get to Northrend as soon as possible, these guides will help you get to the right levels quickly enough so you don't feel like you're wasting time; don't ignore this extremely helpful resource for getting ahead in WoW. Investigate the possible leveling guides you can acquire, so that you can get the best and most efficient way to level up and get to the end of the game quickly. - 32500

Zygor Guides - World Of Warcraft Leveling Guide

By Adrian Logan

World of Warcraft is believed to be the biggest massively multi-player online role playing game in the world. It is believed to capture about 60% of the total MMORG playing population, with over 11.5 million monthly subscriptions.

Captivating is the best way to describe the game. It was released in 2004 and it followed on the heels of Warcraft: The Frozen Throne, the third release in a series that began in 1994 as Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. So far it has had three expansions. They are: The Burning Crusade in 2007; Wrath of the Lich King, 2008, and Cataclysm 2009.

The game is performed in a world termed Azeroth, where the gamer creates a personality for himself to fight humans or orcs of the enemy race in the mode player versus player; battle monsters or conditions in the mode player versus environment; or a combination of the two as he wishes.

The game objective is to achieve higher levels to obtain additional talents or greater skills. This is done through quests like Sir Galahad's for the Holy Grail, where the rewards are points, 'money' or items, like gold. There are many kinds of quests, or also called 'tasks' or 'missions', each quest starting from a previous one.

Attaining levels in World of Warcraft is identical to that used in Mario Brothers, in that when the particular tasks or quests set in one level are completed, one can proceed to the next higher level and face new challenges and adventures. The WoW levels are from 1 to 80, and getting from the first to the 80th level may take a player anywhere between a few days to several months, depending on how long he plays each time, and how fast he acquires the skills necessary to play it. A few ways, however, exist to truncate the trip, and the most used is leveling guides.

One of the best guide that many world of warcraft gamers praise is the Zygor's leveling guide, which they say is very user-friendly even for WoW newbies and experts alike. Among the features they rave on is that Zygor's have guides for both Alliance and Horde, the two combating races of Azeroth, something other guides do not have.

There will be assistance no matter which race you are in. It favors neither one, boosting characters equally well. Likewise, there is less grinding in the guides because the selected missions were the ones that give the best benefits.

The guide is comprehensive and very easy to understand even if it is a neophyte. Quests may be referred to a thottbot, a reference guide there to help. There is even a map add-on that can guide you to places of better performance or turning in every quest. The help data may appear as a dot which may serve as a point destination, and an arrow appears pointing to it when it is clicked on. Tips are also provided, that, though many are basic, can be very helpful nonetheless, certainly for newbies in the game.

Judgment? It is hands down the best leveling guide for WoW at present, and you only need to play it once to appreciate its value. Unless, of course, you want to be frustrated at every turn and quest. - 32500

Alliance Leveling Guide -Tricks To Level Faster

By Olev S. Musterman

I never liked to level up a new toon, but as I wanted to try new dimenssions of the game by playing as tank, I had to start from scratch with a paladin. By the time I hit level 40, the XP bar stopped from moving so I had to look for solution to hasten my progress. The best solution was an Alliance leveling guide. Not only that this guide has provided me with a great quest path, it also showed me many tips and tricks to level faster in World of Warcraft. Therefore, to help all the other Alliance players, here are a few useful thing that I've learned.

1. Always pick up all the quests that you encounter. In World of Warcraft, questing is the main way to level up, and you always need to focus on the bonus XP that you will get by completing a quest instead of the XP from the mobs that you kill. It's also much better to solve only quests that are lower than you, to go through them faster and without dying 10 times on a quest.

2. This Alliance leveling guide has taught me not to spend too much time equipping my toons while still leveling up. Anyone will be just fine with the green crap from quests. Also, it's important to save all the gold from quests for the epic flying mount and for Cold Weather Flying skill. As soon as you get your swift flying ability, your XP rating will sky rocket, as you won't need to take long detours to achieve your goals.

3. If you level your character during week-ends, which is most likely, queue for the holiday battleground and try not to miss any queue. You'll get a high amount of XP in a BG, honor points and also badges which you'll use them later. Also, if your faction wins, you will get a juicy bonus of XP. For example, I got 120k XP from a win in Alterac Valley during a holiday week-end, at level 75.

If these tips aren't won't hasten your progress as much as you hoped, I can only recommend you the Alliance leveling guide I've been following. It's a consistent guide, that will show you the perfect leveling path for Alliance and I'm absolutely positive that will work for you. - 32500

Warhammer Online Leveling Guide - Easy Leveling And No PvP

By Tanija Fabri

A Warhammer Online leveling guide is the best tool for anyone to use to advance in the game quickly. Such leveling guides are something very common these days in online games, they make it easier for anyone to level up a character and just have fun in the game. In WAR, it does the same thing, only it is more useful in this particular game. Here is why.

Online games have generally two sides, the PvE and the PvP sides. PvE is the part where players level up their characters, farm better items for themselves and just hang out with their friends. PvP is the part where players fight other players for different objectives. PvP is also divided into several parts. In Warhammer Online you have open realm versus realm, oRvR, fights to take control of keeps.

You also have normal PvP which takes place in Scenarios, smaller areas with different objectives. These two major parts of the games usually don't combine, but in WAR they do. And that makes it hard for some players to level up.

Not everyone wants or can be effective in PvP, that's why it is very important for such players to be able to level up fast enough using the PvE part of the game. Which in WAR it is pretty twisted up. That's where the Warhammer Online leveling guide comes in. Inside such a leveling guide you will find a whole route that will take you from the start to the finish of the game without having to get killed by enemy players all the time. You won't have to rely on your faction so much to win Scenarios or take over keeps so that you can level up, you can take matter into your own hands and level up faster than anyone with a Warhammer Online leveling guide.

I was able to level up a character in a couple of weeks without having to get frustrated over enemy players who just wouldn't leave me alone. The PvE areas are pretty small, but with the right Warhammer Online leveling guide you can use them to the maximum and level up very fast. So when you want to level up in peace without looking over your shoulder for other players, you should get a Warhammer Online leveling guide. - 32500

Is the Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide Any Good?

By Travis Jenkins

The Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide by Dugi is a top quality gaming guide that gives you the tools you need to level quickly, acquire tons of gold, and raise your PVP playing skills.

This page reviews the features of the Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide and provides information to assist you in deciding whether to use this guide to take your World of Warcraft play to the next level.

First, lets take a look at the many benefits of using this guide.

*The guide is an in-game guide, which gives you everything you need inside your game window, eliminating the need to leave your game window to view the guide.

*A complimentary talent guide is provided along with the main guide.

*Quests for each class are also included in the guide.

*An instance guide is available for level 60-80 instances.

*The guide is printable, although this feature is probably unnecessary for most players as the full guide is included in the game screen.

*All leveling is done by completing quests, eliminating the need to grind endlessly.

*PVP tactics are included as part of an additional guide. *A gold guide is also included, with techniques to make up to 500 gold per hour.

*An arrow on your screen directs you to the next location, and provides distance information as well.

To be fair, here are some things we thought needed improvement.

*We did find a handful of bugs in the game.

*Some of the explanations in the guide were not as clear as they could have been. However, this will not be an issue as long as you have some experience and familiarity with the game and its various zones.

When compared to older game guides that were mostly available in ebook form, the Ultimate WOW Guide is vastly superior. The ability to view guide content in-game, along with wayoints and handy arrows pointing you to the next location you need to get to, will allow you to level at a pace that was previously not possible. Overall, we highly recommend this guide to World of Warcraft enthusiasts who are interested in playing at a higher level. - 32500

WoW Gold Guide - Simple Methods To Earn WoW Gold

By Samuel Musterman

A WoW gold guide proved to be a very good friend when my account was hacked. As I couldn't recover it, I had to start over again from scratch, with 0 cash and gear. Since I wasn't too good at making gold in WoW before the hack, now the situation really sucked for me as I couldn't farm anything. However, this WoW gold guide has provided me with so many easy and simple methods to make money that I was able to buy the flying mounts and the expensive gear I needed as soon as I hit the level cap. So, I'm going to outline here, 3 simple ways to make gold that I've learned.

1. Sholazar Basin Gathering. Sholazar Basin is a very rich area in expensive and on high demand resources. For miners, is a great place to farm Saronite and Titanium as there is a great spawn rate for these. There are many gas clouds that engineers can harvest for eternals here and as a herbalist you can gather Goldclover, Adder's Tongue and Tiger Lily. Anyway, no matter what professions you have, if you gather at least one hour here in the morning, when there's less competition, you can make up to 500+ gold.

2. Fishing. Not many players like this method of gathering because it's boring. But since nobody likes to fish, there's quite a shortage sometimes and players would pay high prices just to buy the fish they need instead of farming them. Best places to fish are Grizzly Hills, for the Glacial Salmon and Borean Tundra, on the big lake in the middle of the area, for Musselback Sculpin. These are main ingredients for the cooking recipe Fish Feast, an important raiding food.

3. Wintergrasp for Alchemists and Herbalists. Wintergrasp is a good area, as this excellent WoW gold guide taught me, to farm herbs for flasks and potions. However, you won't find any Adder's Tongue here, but your main goal should be the Frost Lotus flowers anyway. You can get 5-6 Frost Lotus flowers here per hour which can grant you up to a full stack of flasks if you're a lucky Elixir Master. Plus, all the herbs here can be sold separately for nice cash.

I think these are pretty good tips for farming in World of Worcraft. In each area you can make over 500g by following one of the methods that I've shown you here. However if these tips aren't enough, I can only recommend to use the WoW gold guide that I've been working with. It really paid off. - 32500

WotLK Makes Sensible Powerleveling An Even Better Idea

By Paul Rone-Clarke

So to progress in Warcraft you go to an area, kill mobs, loot them. Then, when your bags are full you trundle back to unload and sell. Of course it's great if a "Green" or even better a "Blue" item drops. There are places on the net that will tell you what the chances of an uncommon or better drop are by area and mob, and you can probably work out yourself how much it's worth. Calculating how much gold per hour you can "grind" in a particular area.

But hidden in the mechanics of Warcraft are things that can seriously slow you down. Making you level much slower and cost you far more gold than you can make. Make sure you aren't falling for these common traps.

Blizzard add "gold sinks" to the game to counter inflation. (Yes inflation would occur in Warcraft, and to some extent does) At level 10 re-equipping ammunition, repairing items and buying food, drink and potions costs a minimal amount. Compare that to coming back from an end game instance. Repair alone is sometimes 20g, and potions can be several gold pieces each (and you need a lot)

One of the main reasons for this is that people tend to push their characters too early. You get to level ten with a character that you believe is well equipped and think;

"This is easy, I can see some level 12 mobs over there. Imagine how quickly I'd level killing those?"

So off you go, ten minutes and five kills later you're dead.

You thought were trying to do something good. After all, the game is all about moving onwards and upwards.

In fact this is not a good idea at all. The best way to level is against mobs that are one or two levels below you. Mobs that you comfortably manage in groups of three or four.

If you add it up you will see that grinding mobs up to four levels below your current level is ideal. They will give you almost the same XP as mobs your own level, and you can run through them killing several at once. That way you get more experience and more loot per hour.

The "crushing blow" rule works here. But in reverse. The magic number of levels a mob can be below you and allow you to still effectively level is 4. So at level 50 grinding 46-50 mobs is ideal (in fact 47 and 48 would be the sweetspot XP per hour wise)

Don't be concerned about missing higher level loot either. The loot might be slightly better, but this is more than countered by the fact that you will kill (and therefore loot) far fewer mobs at a higher level.

Kill more mobs (more mobs = more loot) you will actually make more gold killing mobs a couple of levels below you.

Try not to over-reach yourself. Ultimately levelling out of your comfort zone is slower and costlier. But of course every now and again we all want to show off. - 32500

WOW Grinding Guide

By travis jenkins

In general, there are two reasons people grind in World of Warcraft.

1. To make some gold. If you are considering grinding for gold, consider gold farming guides to help you determine the best locations.

2. Grinding for experience. This used to be highly popular, but with the release of WOW in-game guides, leveling can now be accomplished faster using a good guide and an optimal quest path. However, grinding is still preferred by some players who like to grind to music, or while watching TV.

Grinding definitely still has a place in the WOW game. AOE grinding (gathering mobs then killing them using AOE attacks) can particularly deliver good results, allowing players to gain both experience and gold very quickly. However, most people find grinding to be a bit tedious, and for this reason it is not for everyone. If you have decided on the other hand that grinding is the way to go, here are some quick tips.

1. Get as many large bags as you can. You will need lost of bag space for all the loot you collect from mobs. Lots of bag space will save you trips back to town, allowing you to grind for longer periods with each outing.

2. Set your loot options so you auto-loot your corpses. There are a number of ways to do this, but the most simple one is to set it up in your options. You can also shift-click on mobs to loot everything with a single click.

3. In most cases, you should pick skinning as a profession. If you are after gold, this cannot be overemphasized. Everything you skin will sell very well at auction houses, and will be a major source of extra gold.

The following list provides some of the more popular locations and zones for grinding.
